In-market teams are agile and equipped to understand consumer needs, provide focused attention to dealers, and respond more quickly to local market conditions.**Role Summary**- The Supply Base Transformation Sr. Professional has responsibility and accountability for supporting the Harley-Davidson supply base globalization, targeted cost improvements and strategic supply chain objectives. This position reports to the Director, Supply Base Transformation.**Responsibilities**:- Leads transformation road mapping and planning to support global strategic supply chain objectives, including supplier moves from high-cost country to low-cost country supply base- Supports major global supply chain program transformation efforts- Regularly uses deep and cross-functional end to end supply chain capability, process, and leading practice knowledge- Regularly uses breadth of knowledge including supply chain design, customer requirements, key supply chain capabilities, and differentiated business requirements.- Evaluates, both commercially and operationally, onboard, and develop new suppliers in respective regions (ASEAN, China, Mexico, and India)- Transitions current and new product to current/new best cost suppliers- Delivers value to the organization through evaluating supplier proposals (scope, cost, timing, resource modeling, risk, etc
