POSITION SUMMARYThe Sr Program Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated new product development portfolios and/or projects, existing product update projects, or strategic initiatives. This position has full responsibility and ownership for ensuring the goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and profitability by performing the following duties utilizing project management practices and philosophy.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for projects from initiation through volume production and project closure. Progress will be managed through a gate process, with this role driving readiness, deliverables and gate reviews.Develops overall project management plan including scope, schedule, staffing plan, and budget.Reviews project charter, business case and requirements to establish the work plan and resource needs to successfully execute the project in the allotted time frame and funding.Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.Prepares and presents project status reports for management, client, or other stakeholders. Gathers and develops material for project presentations.Develops risk management plan and mitigation strategies with multiple functions to minimize potential impact to the delivery commitments.Provides technical advice and issue resolution to project team members. The Sr Program Manager is often the first point of escalation to resolve team challenges.Develops and improves project management processes focused on reduction in project cycle times.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's / Master's degree, technical degree preferred.5 to 7 years' experience in a program management type role, preferably in a new product development environment.Strong knowledge project management standards and practices.Proficient with MS Word, Project, Excel, Power Point, and other project management software and applications.Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills (English required).Requires mature judgment, responsible for assigned projects and supervises, organizes, and directs the work of others.Requires high degree of communication, supervisory and organization skills.Knowledge of datacenter infrastructure products preferred.This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDSPlease list all physical and environmental demands that may performed on a regular basis.TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED(None, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%)#J-18808-Ljbffr
