.Job ResponsibilitiesYour main responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:Manages multiple new product development projects according to risk and impact his participation is required or is assigned by the Change Board from Plant Notification to Mass Production Start.Delivers a flawless execution of Project / Changes major milestones through assigning and monitoring tasks and deliverables to functional/operational areas.Serves as main point of contact and communication of project/changes status, concerns, changes within timing, roadblocks for external entities such as Customers, Danfoss engineering, etc.Conducts meetings as required to keep program team, customers and upper management informed of status and associated risks and implements corrective action and recovery plans as required.Assures project/change financials are met on respect profit plan/budget assigned.Deploy and develop a project management culture.Validation of initial BOM's against drawings for new launches & engineering changes.Receive the new projects requirements, quote and communicate lead-time to Danfoss Sales Team or Customers directly.Manage new project process (Review drawings, feasibility analysis, BOMs, purchasing prototypes components and follows up the delivery, build according to specification, tests parts, deliver on time and providing information about packaging).Assure that awarded project quotations are available on time and accurate.Ensure equipment, machines and tooling that meet the safety, quality & production rate standards are considered.Evaluate manufacturing costs pertaining to current product, changes, products, processes, equipment, and facility proposals.Background & SkillsAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making. We are curious to find out how you can bring new insights to the role or to Danfoss as an organization.Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or equivalent experience required (Experience defined as to 5 years in an automotive manufacturing environment).Understanding of finished & component parts functions and adept at interpreting mechanical drawings.An understanding of Engineering, Lean Manufacturing and Quality Control Methodology (APQP, IATF 16949, Core Tools), and 3 to 5 years of experience in project management is required.Strong knowledge of project management methodology, fluency in MS Project or equivalent project management software and Earned Value Management.Experience conducting multidisciplinary teams.Application of capital procurement policies & procedures.Solid customer negotiation skills
