Villa de García Km 3.0, Santa Catarina, 66350 MexicoSr. Project Quality Eng.About the RoleThe Sr. Project Quality Engineer is a critical position that will play a key role in the development of large-size NPI programs. This position is focused on the Quality Engineering side and will be in charge of implementing a high-performance and robust new manufacturing process through controls and standards based on Carrier Excellence Tools such as Procert, MSA, and Control Plans.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols.Provides analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes.Analyzes and makes recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes.Analyzes and determines KC/AMC analysis along with Design Engineering and designs and implements robust plans and controls to meet required capabilities.Manages and implements Control Plan documentation including Visual Aids and PFMEA.Determines and implements Quality Instrumentation, Gauges, and Fixtures.Tracks and controls the PPAP process. Ensures the process is conducted according to Carrier standards.Conducts Gauge RR and CPK studies for every process accordingly.Sets up and implements MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Establishes mistake-proof controls and methods using MES.Tracks and ensures external suppliers meet the High-Quality Carrier standards. Performs and conducts assessments in external supplier sites and establishes preventive and corrective actions.Determines and implements, along with the Manufacturing Team, a robust and capable process where FPY, COPQ, and Warranty targets meet Carrier expectations.RequirementsBachelor's Degree: Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic, Design Engineering, or similar.Experience: +5 years of experience in Quality.English written and spoken.Soft SkillsEffective communication.Ability to work with others towards a shared goal.Willingness to help others even when that involves doing things outside of your scope.Efficient and Productive.Proactive and Prepared.Carrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
