Sr Quality Metallurgical Engineer

Eaton's VEH NAT North America Truck division is currently seeking a Sr Quality Metallurgical Engineer.
**What you'll do**:
LI-SL4

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering
- Experience in welding and heat treatment processes
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector or ASM certification would be a plus
- Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt would be a plus
- Ability to communicate in English (85%)

**Skills**:

- Thorough knowledge of statistics & statistical process control
- Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerance (GD&T) principles
- Strong knowledge of AIAG, IATF 16949 standards and specific requirements such as CQI-9 and CQI-15
- Proficiency in problem-solving & quality techniques including SPC, PFMEA-Control Plan, PPAP, 8-D problem solving, APQP, MSA, Capability Analysis, and Problem Solving
- Knowledge of Automotive Standards and Supplier Quality Manuals
- Knowledge in internal cracks inspection by magnaflux would be a plus
- Knowledge in tools for the manufacture of gears
