**What you'll do**:Sr. Quality Transitioning Engineer will ensure compliance throughout the organization on major programs from product design through manufacturing and product support. Assign tasks to and direct engineers, technicians and inspectors staff. Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of the Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering work. Prepares reports and schedules QA activities within projects. Assists with proposals to provide professional services or cost estimations for engineering projects or programs.- Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.- Review and approve changes to Drawings, Specifications, Manufacturing Job Instructions, Travelers, etc. to assure continued compliance to approved data.- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns.- Lead customer meetings and follow CA implementation- Lead Corrective actions and Nonconformance product resolution.- Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.- Manage suppliers' performance and conduct audits.**Qualifications**:- Ability to work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require tradeoffs and negotiation.- Strong business acumen and strong problem solving skills.- Self-motivated, organized, and effectively achieves team and group goals.- Proven ability as an independent, objective, open-minded thinker.- Proven professional attitude during the execution of an audit or conformity.- Problem solving methodology (5 Why's?, Ishikawa, 8D's, etc.)**Skills**:- Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9000- High-level MS Office computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel and others.- English level - Advanced- Written and verbal communications skills.
