.**_JOB SUMMARY_**Manages human resource, material,and equipment of the department, as well as coordinates general activities and verifies compliance to applicable procedures and practices to assure compliance to quality system and safety, as well as to department and company goals.**_DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES_**Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:OMaintains and ensures compliance with the quality system.OManages human and material resources of the department.OManages the equitable assignment of technicians' tasks and determines inspection priorities based on the requirements of internal and external customers.OGenerates, reviews, and maintains departmental procedures.OReceives and approves the opening and closing of rejections of components generated by receiving inspectionor production, as well as follow-up with supplier quality engineers.OCoordinates the creation, approval and closure of corrective actions.ODevelops, manages and executes the audit plan for departmental procedures to monitor compliance.OReviews and approves the CO's / ECO's generated for production components in ADAPTIV / cPDM.OReceives and ensures that service requirements are processed.OParticipates in the analysis and monitoring of customer complaints related to components.OCertifies the technicians and the group leader in the departmental procedures.OCoordinates the training of new entry inspection personnel.OServes administrative matters of technicians and group leaders.OComplies with the company's regulations whether local, state and / or federal, as well as the procedures and policies of Safety and Hygiene, Health and Environment.OPromotes the system of continuous improvement through employee suggestions.OPromotes and develops Kaizen activities and / or savings projects.OResponsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.OFor those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.OResponsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.OPerforms other assigned tasksas necessary**Qualifications****_EXPERIENCEAND EDUCATION_**oEngineering in any specialty.OBilingualoMaster's degree in science is recommended.O4to 6years of experience in supervisory positions and direct personnel management.OMinimum 2 years of experience in receiving inspection or similar position.OMinimum experience of 2 years in the medical industry.**_REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES,CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS_**oKnowledge and skill in continuous improvement techniques.OKnowledge and skillin JDE
