.**Job Details****What you will do**Responsible for successfully leading large, complex global engineering projects in the SAP Basis area, to include life-cycle upgrades and refreshes.Lead interaction with Service Delivery and Platform Management to deliver projects in accordance with budget and timeline constraints.**How you will do it**- With mínimal supervision, lead large and complex global Enterprise Computing projects within the SAP Basis platform group.- Develop and deliver architectural concepts for complex systems.- Develop and implement new infrastructure technology standards in coordination with Enterprise Architecture.- Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers and support analysts.- Aggressively seek solutions to obstacles.**What we look for**- Ensure the adherence to JCI infrastructure architecture standards, including obtaining formal sign-off of architecture at the defined review points across the PRISM methodology.- Provide input to Platform Management and Infrastructure Architecture regarding existing and new technologies; propose changes to architecture standards and technology roadmaps.- Lead the implementation and adoption of new technologies into the enterprise data center environments.- Deep knowledge of SAP Basis: Technical Planning, Installations and Configurations (SAP S/4 HANA,BW4HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN...), Upgrades, OS/DB Migrations, Unicode Conversions for SAP NetWeaver platform, SSO configuration, installation of SSL certificates- Mastery of the HANA knowledge including High Availability and Disaster Recovery- Responsibilities includes configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment on an ongoing basis as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system- Install SAP systems and related software (e.G. database), including upgrades, preventative and corrective maintenance through the change management process and within scheduled maintenance windows.- Administer and configure SAP systems for all JCI enterprise data centers.- Monitor vendors' support facilities for software updates and implement/recommend maintenance to keep systems current and well within vendors' support requirements.- Develop Disaster Recovery plans, procedures and test scenarios and provide technical guidance at regular DR rehearsals.- Develop and maintain SOX procedures for implementation by Service Delivery- Provide level III incident and problem management, responsible for resolution and root cause analysis of the most complex SAP Basis and database issues within established Operating Level Agreements.- Maintain knowledge of the latest developments impacting the SAP Basis Platform environment and makes recommendations that will improve efficiency, throughput, capabilities, and/or capacity.- Provide effective technical documentation to clearly communicate procedures and developments to Service Delivery.- Demonstrate exceptional customer service attitude and work ethic
