Description and detail of activities
1.
Coverage analysis for raw material, components, and assemblies.
2.
Ensure the MPS is always 100% accurate and achievable.
3.
Coordination of meetings with areas involved in the production process with the objective of reviewing adherence status to the plan and lead the daily meeting with staff manager (DMM).
4.
Analysis of capacity and productivity of production plans.
5.
Creation of workorder according to requirements.
6.
Kanban monitoring in ERP.
7.
Monitor changes in the key business drivers, perform analysis, and possess the ability to shape the analytical findings into a meaningful business story.
8.
Monitoring of configuration changes and part numbers.
9.
Creation of RTV for non-conforming client material.
10. schedule customer requirements and ensure compliance with the date.
11.
Plan and schedule work priorities for the areas of NCR, purge, and reworks.
12.
Highlights and eliminates potential delays within the organization at an early stage.
13.
Supports ICON risk management strategies for continuous support of production line.
14.
Creates and executes expediting strategies.
15.
Analyze and execute reports on shortages/material availability.
16.
Trains and develops Planning team members
Desired Characteristics
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with macros, VBA, Power Query etc is a plus.
- Ability to solve build forecast and schedule issue through logical deduction
- Ability to draw information from cross functional sources (Production, Materials) and make decision independently.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage competing deadlines and remain organized
- Must have excellent communication skills and above average analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills and be able to work independently with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be capable of developing reports by extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from various sources
Experience and requirements
- BA/BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field of discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of directly applicable expediting/planning experience.
- 3+ years in a leadership role with applicable expediting/planning/buying experience is a plus.
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, internally and externally
- Ability to work independently with strong decision-making skills while under limited supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- APICS / ASCM certification is desirable, i.e., C.P.M., CPIM, CPSM, CSCP.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (fully Bilingual)
