Manage customers demand. Ensure that materials supply equal demand. Optimize overall costs of materials. Control materials from suppliers to the Operation & customer as well as between other Jabil Operations.- Assure smooth and continuous materials supply for Jabil's Shanghai operations.- Ensure cost effective materials sourcing, purchasing and planning to enhance Jabil's profitability and its competences in the market.- Ensure proper capacity planning to maximize customer's satisfaction and our resource utilization.- Ensure high materials inventory accuracy via regular cycle counts or physical inventory count.- Drive to maintain lowest possible inventory plant wide to maximize on Inventory Turns.- Critical focus areas- Provide the support within division level- Must follow RBA (Responsibility Business Alliance Code of Conduct) provision; - Comply with "25-S30-GEN-043 Cardinal Safety Rules & EHS Expectations for employees"- Comply with requirements of ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 standard and related site procedures.- Supporting energy saving, sorting waste and reducing waste.**MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**- The Senior Material Manager shall report to Operation Manager/Director.- It shall be the responsibility of the Senior Material Manager to perform his/her function in accordance with the documented the policies, procedures and processes defined with Jabil Shanghai and Jabil Corporate.**JOB QUALIFICATIONS****KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**- Extremely strong skills in the following areas: communication, leadership, business analysis, process system development, administration and change management
