**Job Description**:
**What you will do?**
- Support and drive successful planning and execution of the General Motors Workplace Safety System including but not limited to administration of the Safety Contract Management program, safety observation tours, employee safety concerns, incident investigation, G-risk and G-comply processes, and compliance of all powerhouse and wastewater treatment systems to applicable GM standards and external codes.
- Responsible to implement/comply with GMS-SW principles
- Lead O&M activities at PH/WWTP equipment plant-wide. Develop and implement standard operating and preventive maintenance processes and/or procedures to improve system reliability, maintenance efficiency; and eliminate risks. Manage execution of this maintenance system and all required corrective maintenance activities.
- Prepare as needed SOW for O&M increased or decreased activities at PH/WWTP
- Be the Liaison/leader for any upgrade or improvement to PH/WWTP equipment and facility
- Single point of contact with Utilities Companies/Agencies (Water, Natural Gas, Electricity)
- Participate as SME for GMP or EPS project implementation in conjunction with Facilities Engineer/Facilities Management Representatives
- Manage the budget of the utilities O&M (prepare, monitor and comply budget targets and performance) site utilities budget
- Present utility performance status to plant management.
- 4000s Account Champion for Plant including forecast fuel consumption (Natural Gas, Electricity, Compressed Air and Water)
- Support all facility shutdown events including planned and unplanned utility interruptions. This includes but is not limited to supporting emergency response plans, disaster recovery plans, and business resumption and continuity processes. Be readily available to respond in emergency situations and communicate status per the defined escalation procedure. Organize monitor and provide "real time" feedback to total plant organization for downtime plans.
- Responsible for efficiency tracking and improvement of powerhouse equipment (i.e., chillers, compressors, boilers, etc.)
- Responsible to comply with Water and Treated Water Quality Specifications.
- Prepare and monitor project budget plans (includes motivating resource organizations to complete projects)

- Perform root cause analysis and countermeasure development for major system or process failures. lead site implementation of utilities services continuous improvement process (i.e. interruptions, safety, environmental violations)
- Develop and implement site energy consumption reduction initiatives. Provide technical and operational analysis of energy related problems and develop and execute solutions.
- Participate in conjunction with Facilities Engineer Rep to prepare ACAP, NPP and GPRs for PH/WWTP equipment.

**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree: Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Chemical Engineer or all Engineering related
- Required experience in similar position: from 2 to 4 years (working as facilities engineer, people leader and with Power House)
- On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis (5x2)
- English Level: Advanced
