The position will support the SMT processes: Solder Paste Printer, Solder Paste Inspection, Pick and Place, and Reflow Process. The SMT Engineer will support the transfer of products and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the day-to-day SMT equipment.Define the maintenance plans for the equipment.Develop the WIs for the SMT processes.Plan to have the SMT KPIs on a good trend.Implement and maintain the process controls for the SMT processes.Responsible for the safety of the SMT area.Perform process validations for the new products.Train all the SMT Staff, operators, and technicians.Responsible for the correct handling of moisture-sensitive devices.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in electronic engineering or related field.10 years or more experience in the SMT process.Strong SMT knowledge - SMTA certification a plus.High machine troubleshooting knowledge.Process validation knowledge - at least Automotive level.Juki placement machines knowledge.High stencil design knowledge - IPC 7525.High knowledge of the IPC-610 Criteria / J-STD-001.AMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7.0 billion.
