.**Visión general**:The Sourcing/Purchasing Specialist position is a key role within our strategic plan for the Lixil Supply Chain - Indirect Procurement organization. An enthusiastic self-starter with strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multi-tasking skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, facilitating and managing RFP processes, maintaining supplier relationships, managing project schedules, negotiating agreements and collaborating with internal organizations. In addition, this position must possess strong analytical skills and associated technical skills to analyze spend trends and opportunities for savings.**Responsabilidades**:Contract for and purchase materials, equipment, supplies and services of for a broad set of categories including but not limited to Marketing, Financial Services, Information Technology, Leasing, Facilities, Energy, Consulting, Telecommunications as well as general office procurement requirements.Build relationships with key suppliers with an emphasis on supplier consolidation and leveraging spend across LIXIL Americas (LA) organizations.Review and analyze purchase requisitions, investigate and develop sources of supply, prepare RFP specifications, issue RFPs and reviews responses.Lead supplier selection process through objective scorecard ratings.Examines and analyzes departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information.Develop, communicate and drive category strategies in collaboration with stakeholders, internal Procurement team members and suppliers.Identify and select suppliers to procure requisitioned products and services, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality and delivery date and place orders.Resolve purchasing problems between internal departments and suppliers.Communicate procurement policies & procedures to internal stakeholders and suppliers as required.This position requires the use of strong initiative and independent judgment.The position reports directly to the Leader, Indirect Procurement - Business Services.The role requires achieving goals in stakeholder satisfaction, cost savings and cycle time.**Requisitios**:Knowledge of procurement processes across a broad spectrum of indirect procurement products and services. Strong Procurement experience in Information Technology and/or Finance categories a plus.Experience using the Ariba modules (Sourcing, Contracts, P2P and SLP) a plus.Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior management.Skilled in both verbal and written communication.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and on own initiative.Results oriented, innovative, influential and adaptable team player
