Sr. Specialist, Employee Development/Training Position Summary
Develop and execute learning & development strategies, design and deliver training programs, assess training & development needs and track learning effectiveness for Yazaki North & Central America.
Collaborate with different business units and functional groups to support learning & development efforts throughout the organization. Administration of Learning Management System.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assess training & development needs with different business units and functional groups.Identify training & development needsDefine learning & development strategyDefine a plan of action with proposals to be implementedImplement & follow up according to planDeliver training sessions: Facilitate training sessions, whether in-person or online to ensure effective learning & skills developmentLMS AdministrationManage and update the records related to the training process in the LMS module.Develop strategies for deploying learning resources.Define the type of resource to be developed and prepare what is needed to deploy to the audience.Prepare the necessary information to deploy (communication, reports, learning need, etc).LMS ManagementConfigure the creation of new plants in LMS (plant registration, room creation, instructor registration, new MU/SU training).Participate in LMS releases to implement system improvements.Coordinate the implementation of improvements and/or updates as a team with IT.Support IATF audits and legal requirements.Respond to audits for the YSS/YNA audience.Provide support to all the regions within YNCA for the Competence section (support in responding to applicable clauses, system support, root cause identification).Ensure compliance with training legal requirements in all countries where YNCA operates (Mexico, USA, CAN, ELS, NIC, GTM)Coordinate and ensure the recording and registration of training records in SIRCE (Mexico).Instructional design and support to update training materials (QRG, manuals, infographics, videos).Evaluate training effectiveness: measuring the impact of training programs to ensure they meet organizational goalsEnsure and report the necessary information on learning & development metrics (monthly training KPI, development plans).Monthly KPI reportingSpecific Area of Discipline Responsibilities

Experience using SuccessFactors (desired) or other LMS (required)Experience in Manufacturing environment (required)Experience in Automotive industry (IATF norm knowledge) (required)Experience responding to IATF audits (competence clause) (required)Experience in training administration and facilitating training, instructor certification desiredFluent English level is required (Writing and Speaking)Skilled in content creation & instructional design (Training material and resources)Able to negotiate with and support users at all levels (executive and individual contributor)Education
Degree Requirements: Bachelor's in administration, Psychology or similar
Certification Requirements: Instructor or facilitation
Previous Experience: 5 - 8 years of experience in Training Process within Manufacturing and Automotive industry
