This includes establishing the necessary strategy for material planning and procurement, to successfully meet with Customer Service Level, at the most effective costs in freight expenses and Inventory level projections; as well as to meet VIP bowler targets.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Other duties may be assigned:- Establish, lead, and execute strategies, provide day to day operational direction to the direct report (MMS) as necessary to ensure the teams deliver on their commitments.- Provides timely and accurate information to senior management and the core team, regarding Inventory level projections and DOH, risk to supply chain if any, phase in-phase out project plans on VIP projects, status and needs, accordingly; work with functional management such as Supply Chain, Sourcing, Engineering to ensure communication and resources alignment, provides inputs to Sr Supply Chain Manager regarding team members' performance.- Ensure aggressively realistic scheduling material planning and analysis are established with input and commitment from core-team members; risks are identified, managed and mitigated through the supply chain in order to achieve service level targets, Inventory targets, and freight budgets.- Lead regular team meetings, set actions, tracking progress against plan, and managing risks to minimize impact to the KPI.- Collaboration with NPI Sourcing Leaders and Project Managers, to support new product introduction for Monterrey site.- E&O Monthly projections that provides triggering actions to avoid negative financial impact to the P&L in Monterrey, working in conjunction with finance director.- Overall leadership on direct materials planning and procurement, responsible for a portfolio of direct global suppliers, management of planned raw material inputs vs outputs, and management of freight in budgets.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university- Education and experience in Lean, Kaizen events, Continuous Improvement
