Sr Specialist Mobility     Location: Providencia Office, Guadalajara Jalisco, Mx.Dept / Function:             Hershey Business Platform (HBP)            Pay band: 1A The Sr Mobility Specialist will provide specialized Mobility support to facilitate Hershey's Global Mobility program, including domestic and international relocations and employment-based immigration processes.
They will be the front door of Hershey Mobility for employees, managers, HR and external partners, working very closely with HBP and Global Mobility as well as internal and external partners.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:               1.Immigration Support     •            Serve as the primary contact for external immigration attorney, employees, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition regarding immigration matters.•            Intake of sponsorship assessment requests.
Coordinate review of JD and candidate information with external immigration counsel.
Provide initial assessment summary including feasibility, costs, concerns, etc.
for sponsorship to HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition.
•            Initiate immigration cases in case management system, coordinate requests for additional information, and review application documents ensuring accuracy of employee and company information.
•            Review of application documents prepared by immigration counsel against HR systems, Job description and other supporting materials to ensure accuracy and release to Mobility Manager for signature.•            Coordinate PERM/Green Card process including consulting with HR Business Partners, manager, employee, and Talent Acquisition.
Domestic Relocation Support    •            Respond to inquiries relating to Domestic Relocation policies including Intern through Management Renter tiers.
Review exception requests and escalate to Global Mobility Manager as needed.
•            Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual relocation accrual process with accounting and relocation management company ensuring accuracy of balances, quarterly adjustments, new initiations, and accurate cost centers.
•            Audit weekly initiation reports to ensure employees are authorized for correct policy tier, relocation distance, and correct cost centers are used.
Administration  •            Process & follow-up of vendor invoices to ensure on time processing.•            Partner with internal functions, mobility employees and Global Mobility Manager to gather employee/assignee information as needed for relocation/assignment assessments, visa approval, onboarding, and Org Management processing.
Education:         •            Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tax, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent mobility/relocation industry experience.
Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and/or Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) professional designations preferred.
Experience:       •            3 years of corporate global mobility experience (HR), including domestic and international relocation and U.S. employment-based immigration (L-1, H-1B, TN, PERM/green card).
Experience with mobility tax and/or expatriate assignment support is preferred.
Proficient in English (speaking and writing)•            Effective oral, written, and persuasive communications skills•            Ability to analyze data and identify actionable insights•            Ability to research complex questions•            Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, globally matrixed customer service organization is highly preferred•            Strong Microsoft Excel skills with proficiency in other Microsoft applications, SuccessFactors and SAP•            Project management skills and process improvement implementation strategies preferred.
