.**Job Description Summary**: In this role, you will ensure that the life cycle stages of a defined portfolio of data-related technologies are maintained as per the strategy set out by the GE Aerospace DSC organization.You will meet the needs of a broad set of stakeholders including but not limited to: Product Managers and Owners, Enterprise and Technical Architects, Platform and Operational/Service Owners, Program Management and Engineering teams.**Role & Responsibilities**:Within the specific data connect technology portfolio, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability of the portfolio technology/ies. This includes but is no limited to:- Following the appropriate standard work for the intake, processing and resolution of customer cases.- Working on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple services.- Participating in 24x7 on-call rotation and working with global teams.- Collecting and collating customer and stakeholder interview responses to assess their satisfaction in terms of product availability, performance.- Possessing advanced product and industry knowledge.- Providing data to support strategic KPIs and being part of any corrective actions identified to keep or bring back KPIs to within their control limits.- Being fully aware of technology vendor roadmaps.- Participating in reviews with technology vendors to obtain and provide feedback on all new releases.- Creating tutorials, how-to videos and other knowledgebase articles and keeping them published and up-to-date.- Ensuring that the standard work to manage established, agreed product lifecycles is followed.- Participating in upgrade and maintenance activities that result in the lowest possible amount of down time.- Participating and potentially managing upgrade and maintenance projects.- Driving customer communication during critical events and leading retrospective meetings.- Supervising life cycle hyper care periods and affirming when business as usual (BAU) has been achieved.**Desired Characteristics**:- Batchelor's Degree in or majored in Computer Science or STEM.- At least 5 years' operations, design or engineering experience within a complex digital enterprise portfolio of data-related technologies.- Self-directed individual contributor with a high say/do ratio.- Keeps their knowledge on relevant, new and adjacent technologies extremely current. Contributes to the creation of reusable processes and recognizes, implements best practices.- Identifies issues and escalates to leadership. Is aware of implications and decisions related to competing priorities.- Strives to avoid people-centric situations and highlights such single points of failure.- Has a proven track record of executing to plans and delivering results.- Able to detect, communicate and manage risk and uncertainty within scope of role.- Ability to operate effectively and appropriately with colleagues at all levels of the organization, and within both DT and business functions
