The role of the Jamf Architect is to proactively guide the design, build, and implementation of solutions to meet Workplace Technologies business needs related to Apple endpoints. This Engineer will work closely with multiple internal stakeholders to design and improve automation solutions required for corporate and production use. This individual will provide guidance to other junior and senior engineers.Operations and AdministrationProvides backend configuration, maintenance and support for workstation and mobile services and security applications including but not limited to Jamf, Jamf Connect, Apple Enterprise Services and Apple ABM.Plans detailed requirements for new and changing infrastructure services.Builds and tests pilot versions for new and changing services.Creates solution documentation.Provides senior technical troubleshooting incident and problem resolution for endpoint services platform offerings.Security and PartnershipsManages overall security frameworks and practices as they pertain to desktop services and integrated technologies such as VPN, Antivirus, etc.Maintains appropriate balance with security and usability, including working with teams to adjust appropriate policies.Partners with client and portfolio owners to assist with technology implementation initiatives across business services.Leadership and LearningActively stays up to date on the latest technologies and solutions, including internal/external learning and research.Creates endpoint reports for stakeholders as requested.Evaluates advanced requests for feasibility and provides appropriate guidance.Provides coordination for architecture of systems, including providing feedback on project requests and timing.The Essentials10+ years' experience in a medium/large organization administering Jamf, Intune, or other MDM solutions for Mac endpoints.5+ years' experience in identity and access management or security engineering.Advanced scripting knowledge (bash, python, etc.).Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience dealing with security incidents
