.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesResponsible to review and propose best practices in PLC programming structure in all automaton projects of Module Technology Deployment (MTD) to make sure it will work properly and for standardization. These responsibilities also require a close working relationship with the Factory PLC programmers at all sites, to have all the copies of updated robots, machines, and the whole automated lines program as a backup once needed. He can also lead or drive automation projects. - The main role is to work or support development and automation Engineers (from the group) to develop automated machines, particularly in Robots and PLC programs. - Design, develop, evaluates, select, and order (if necessary) PLCs for new automated machines or retrofit machines. Make sure cost-effective for the manufacturer of the company. - Make sure he is always present in all machines on-going installation by the team. - He must be trained by Automation suppliers prior to machine shipment to MAXEON site. - He must have the latest copy of the new machine program. - Propose automation projects from a manual process to semi-auto or fully automated machines that impact safety, cycle time improvements, or operator's reduction/ removal. - Work closely with the cross-functional team per site for any machine improvement for alignment or standardization. - Present all necessary presentation materials based on MAXEON business process from Design review, Equipment purchase, and Process characterization before the machine is fully endorsed to production. - Responsible also in any machine detailed qualification based on MAXEON requirements or business process (DOE, COV, Mini-Marathon, STO and FTO) - Create and provide necessary documents to sustaining for all new machines before fully endorse to production Equipment / Process OCAP related to PLC programs. - May requires 10% Travel to check and support other MAXEON site if new machines encountered program issues.Experiência y requisitos- Can write and speak English language. - Experience leading projects of significant complexity, with multifunctional teams. - With minimum of 5 years handling fully automated machines. - Ability to resolve conflicts and drive issues to resolution specially PLC programs. - Technical background enabling an effective interface with the technical team members - Experience in working with internal groups and companies internationally - Experience working in a manufacturing environment - Trained or knowledgeable in PLC's, Robot's, Motor's, Camera's and Sensors. - Trained or knowledgeable in using SolidWorks, 3D modelling or/and AutoCAD. - Willing to travel frequently even with short notice - Can work flexible hours even in weekends or night shift if needed and with short notice Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in EE/ ECE/ Computer, Automation, Mechatronics or ME and with 5+ years' experience on the position (Development or Automation)
