Perform advanced FEM analysis in support of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Fuel, Electrical, Drain, and other systems components using standard and complex analysis methods and finite element approaches.- Drive and conduct design trades, optimizations and final product configuration definitions considering safety, strength, weight, cost & producibility.- Generate and review reports suitable for transmittal to an airworthiness authority and external customers. Oversee technical aspects of the stress analysis activities for domestic and global engineering support teams across multiple disciplines.- Represent Collins aerospace in weekly customer meetings and be able to negotiate and present EBU system technical issues and deliverables.- Perform structural stress analysis from pre-design to certification.- Develop & manage schedule, test activities, design reviews, drawing sign offs and development of stress certification reports.- Work closely with program to support value engineering and design changes activities.- Communicate and present technical data to internal and external customers.- Perform other duties as required.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Mechanic, Aerospace, Mechatronic or related- +5 years of prior relevant experience- Experience in aircraft/airframe Engine Build-Up (EBU) structural analysis.- Thorough understanding of applicable regulatory requirements- NASTRAN/PATRAN experience- Demonstrated capability to define and optimize structural load paths- Experience with CATIA V5- Advanced Excel knowledge- Ability to deliver high quality output in needed timeframes with mínimal oversight- Excellent communication and presentation skills to work closely with other international locations.Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Mexicali, B.C.: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)Work Location: In person
