In this role, you will engage in the designing, developing, and implementing of cutting-edge structural systems for Commercial facilities with a primary emphasis on steel frame structures, reinforced concrete structures, Masonry Structures, and PEMB configurations. As a Structural Engineer at SSOE, you will have a foundation in structural principles, structural analysis & calculations, and a proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.Responsibilities:The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.Performs a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor with increasing responsibility based on performance.Plans, develops, coordinates, and directs a medium to large engineering project or a number of smaller complex projects with overall responsibility for budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.May supervise, coordinate, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project.May represent the firm in meetings and conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate a project.Meets with clients to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.Performs routine calculations and work on PC system.Provides supervisor and project manager with scope of work change warnings.Maintains continuing professional education in discipline.Takes part in client contact and business development activities.Communicates with supervisor concerning progress or problems in an assigned task.Updates department REVIT standards.Knowledge of US Codes: ASCE7, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360Masonry & Wood experiencePost-tensioned concreteSeismic Design Category D / High seismic design experience / basics knowledgeQualifications:What You Will Bring:Bachelor Degree in Engineering as Civil Engineer and Master Degree in Structural design or Sciences (This is not a must, just desirable req
