.Job Description SummaryThe Sr. Materials Manager is responsible for establishing, reviewing and maintaining the production schedule in alignment with the SIOP and consensus plan. Establishing the master plan will involve working closely with key stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Production, Materials, Finance and Engineering to coordinate manufacturing plans that achieve the company objectives related to customer service, efficient resource/capacity utilization and financials. Provides leadership to ensure a smooth flow of materials by receiving warehousing and shipping operations for two sites.Job DescriptionM3-14921- Has the authority to stop processes that are generating quality problems.- Full materials management and purchasing and warehousing authority for Healthcare and Homecare issues.- Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the processes related to the supply chain maintenance.- Support Logistics Department to provide the requirements needed to comply with Customs Regulations.- Responsible for the assurance of the production plans and personnel assigned along with the required materials.- Manage assigned product customer service levels and backordered items.- Take a leadership role in identifying, managing, and executing procurement opportunities to enhance plant- performance.- Represent plant by active involvement in developing, sourcing strategies with key suppliers.- Develop inventory plan to meet desired customer service levels while minimizing inventory investment.- Develop and implement new systems and procedures which improve the materials Department performance and efficiency through continuous improvement.- Collaborate with Division and/or corporate strategic sourcing representatives to support company-wide initiatives and/or new- product introductions.- Creation, implementation and/or follow up to the process and procedures to keep inventory accuracy.- Full responsibility for warehouse control in both buildings.- **Participate in the communication of the organization's Quality Policy and Objectives.**:- Working knowledge of Purchasing Law and Regulations, Materials Management, Business Law beneficial.
