We are looking to hire a Sr Supply Chain Supervisor to be located at our plant at El Salto, Jalisco. What you can look forward to as Supply Chain Supervisor: Analyze and continuously improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase service levels. Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline operations. Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished goods. Implement and refine inventory control systems to minimize excess inventory, ensuring inventory accuracy and turnover efficiency. Manage the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal customers. Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times. Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts. Use forecasting tools and techniques to predict future demand and adjust supply chain activities accordingly. Monitor supply chain expenses and develop strategies to reduce inventory. Ensure contingency plans are in place to address supply chain disruptions. Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to achieve departmental and company goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to streamline operations and improve supply chain efficiency. Experience planning of all flows and movements including demand, operations, and logistics. Responsible for developing strategic planning for the business from demand forecast to country network planning. Be responsible for supply planning reporting generation and distribution. This role may require some travel. Your Profile as Sr Supply Chain Supervisor: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the automotive industry. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (SAP; QAD). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
