We are currently searching for a Sr System Engineer : Responsibilities: Oversee the management and maintenance of servers across various platforms including Cisco, Dell, Windows, and Linux.
Manage storage systems such as Pure, Compellent, and Infinidat, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
Handle the administration, engineering, and day-to-day operations of VMWare environments .
Maintain knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers, storage, and cabling, with the ability to rack and cable servers and storage devices.
Manage backup systems such as CommVault and Rubrik , ensuring data protection and recovery capabilities.
Oversee the configuration and management of monitoring systems like Logic Monitor to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Work effectively from home while maintaining productivity and communication with team members.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and effective communication both verbally and in writing.
Drive projects to completion with minimal oversight, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
Provide mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to facilitate their professional growth.
Requirements: Extensive knowledge and experience in server administration, including Cisco, Dell, Windows, and Linux environments .
Proficiency in storage administration with experience in systems like Pure, Compellent, and Infinidat (nice to have).
Expertise in VMWare administration , engineering, and operations.
Familiarity with data center infrastructure , including servers, storage, and cabling.
Experience with backup administration tools such as CommVault and Rubrik (nice to have).
Proficiency in monitoring administration using tools like Logic Monitor .
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Understanding of file system structures and FTP/SFTP setup and administration .
Familiarity with change management processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and build external business relationships.
Strong reasoning, research, and communication skills.
Desired: Experience with AWS administration, engineering, and operations .
Experience with Azure administration, engineering, and operations .
Languages: Advanced Oral English.
Native Spanish.
