Be part of the SoC Platform Validation team within Data Platforms Group!The Sr. System Validation Engineer requires a broad understanding of CPU and system-level architecture. This job will present interesting challenges and drive knowledge of the latest CPU Intel architecture as the person will participate in their validation at a system level.Key attributes and activities in this role include, but are not limited to:- Lead debug of platform-level issues involving CPU flows and drive them to resolution.- Validation pathfinding activities involving CPU core interoperability.- Drive requirements to test cases, defining proper traceability.- Be a voice and enforcer of the health and quality of the products.- Drive key defects resolution, leading debug taskforces.- Constantly improve testing coverage based on success criteria metrics and status.- Planning, developing and executing Systems Engineering Best Practices.- Engaging with architecture and various cross-team validation organizations to define test plans.- Be a role model for the organization and junior engineers.- Logical solving problem skills.- Teamwork skills.- Desire to participate and create a good working environment.**Qualifications**Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.Minimum Qualifications:- 1+ years of CPU hands-on debug experience.- 3+ years of technical and debug experience with data center or client systems.- 3+ years of system-level validation.- 2+ years of operating systems and FW understanding experience.- Advanced English skills.Preferred Qualifications:- Master or Ph.D. degree in Digital Electronics design or similar.- Experience in design or validation of any CPU architecture.- Experience with scripting test cases for HW validation**Inside this Business Group**The Data Platforms Engineering and Architecture (DPEA) Group invents, designs & builds the world's most critical computing platforms which fuel Intel's most important business and solve the world's most fundamental problems.
