General Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to a multi-site team to support the recruitment of production line and entry level through Sr. Director level positions
- Become an invaluable consultant to the regional business leadership team and HR Business Partners by advising on all talent acquisition related topics and building strong working relationships
- Drive functional excellence - assess current recruiting teams ability and opportunities for development as well as implement individual development plans where necessary to improve the regional teams capabilities
- Drive for results - participate in setting regional recruiting goals and hold team members accountable for goal achievement while supporting their efforts
- Participate in developing internal and external business acumen for assigned business groups, research industry competitors and be aware of market conditions to develop better sourcing strategies
- Utilize recruiting metrics and analytics that provide insight, drive decision making, measure team productivity and ROI
- Participate on project teams to design/implement/optimize talent acquisition focused projects
- Facilitate the proper use of the Workday recruiting management system by Recruiters, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to ensure an accurate collection of recruiting data
- Support employer branding activities within region to position Sensata as an employer of choice
- Work with HR Business Partners and functional managers to determine upcoming staffing needs through workforce planning
- Participate in developing strategies to reduce the time to fill and cost to hire
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
- Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
