Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.**Job Description**:The Sr Trade Compliance Specialist works with Jabil sites and business units to ensure that Jabil operations comply with Import and Export Compliance requirements and acts as internal consultant and escalation point for Jabil sites and business units for customs and export compliance matters.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**- Acts as internal consultant for Jabil sites, business units, internal and external customers for import and export compliance issues- Assesses import and export compliance requirements, their risk impacts to Jabil and applicable divisions, sites, geographies, etc., current operations and drives proactive, preventive based actions that assure ongoing compliance- Acts as an escalation point for customs and export compliance matters.Creates and delivers training and instruction across the organization in import and export (trade) compliance requirements and Jabil's approach to meet these requirements.**Knowledge Requirements**:- Extensive experience in import and export (trade) compliance requirements including but not limited to: EU UCC, Classification and Duties, Country of origin determination, EU Dual Use Regulations, Export Licensing, Incoterms.- Ability to translate regulatory requirements and business needs into value added processes.- Ability to act independently in a complex and fast paced environment.- Proven ability and experience in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, processes, procedures and systems.- Proven experience in coaching, training and mentoring of indirect resources.- Must be an outstanding communicator and team facilitator.- Excellent problem solver. Makes decisions based on data.**Education Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree required (Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Studies).- Minimum of 2-3 years work-related experience required in Import and Export Compliance (Trade) Management.- Operations management experience is a plus.- Strong analytical, fluent oral and written communication skills in English.- Flexibility and adaptability.Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
