Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.- JOB SUMMARY:- Needs to be self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and make independent decisions; will manage Trade Compliance Team to ensure adherence with Import/Export laws and regulations, comply with department metrics, and improve operational efficiency thru process automation.- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Trade Compliance Department Management- Evaluate customs brokers, based on KPI´s.- Internal compliance control program (Audits, Training, Processes implementation etc.
)- Assist team to develop and update compliance procedures and controls.- Conducting internal audits and identifying opportunity areas.- Support requirements of the company and government.- Develop improvement projects.- Implementation of new projects of the company where Trade Compliance is involved.- Communication and support with areas involved.- Monitor and analyze the impact of new regulations or law changes and determine countermeasures.- SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE- International Trade and Logistics Degree or similar.- Minimum 5 years' experience in Import / Export and Trade Compliance.- NOMs knowledge.- Proactive attitude and a high degree of teamwork.- Strong desire to drive good results for the company.- Strong sense of integrity and compliance.- Leadership skills- Attention to detail.- Very effective communication skills- Problem solver, able to work under time-sensitive circumstances, take initiative to address the situation before issues arise.- Able to work effectively with all organizational functional areas and levels.- Strong sense of initiative with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement.- Language skills: English.- WORKING CONDITIONS- Office-based and home office environment.- Occasional travel.- GPTW environment.- We are an ambitious, resourceful, and driven workforce, which empowers us to THINK OUTSIDE._- _About PolarisAs the global leader in powersports, Polaris Inc.
