.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize warehouse operations and logistics processes in alignment with company objectives.- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment.- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse supervisors, logistics coordinators, and support staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.- Implement best practices for inventory control, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and production, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and coordinate shipments to meet customer requirements.- Evaluate warehouse layout and storage methods to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency.- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for warehouse staff.- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency within the warehouse and logistics functions**QUALIFICATIONS****Minimum Job Qualifications**:Minimum number 8-12 of experience in materials management, procurement, and logistics within a manufacturing environment, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities**Preferred Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders. Strong knowledge of inventory control methods, logistics management principles, and ERP systems.**EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS**Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
