JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purpose:
To support our suppliers in the most efficient way with any inquiries/issues, and manage all reservations according to the Operations department service standards and processes.
Be a supportive team-player in a cohesive team building a reputation for outstanding service and efficiency and supporting the development of a high performing service culture.
Accountabilities & Weighting-
- Act as the first line of contact for Suppliers.
Build, maintain and enhance strong relationships with Suppliers.
Challenges- Decisions are mainly guided by policies, procedures, or practices, however, some situations may require exploring alternatives or interpreting guidelines.- Navigating through tricky situations while working within well established procedures for mutual positive outcomes for all parties.- Working with Suppliers to address any knowledge gaps and suggest ideas to mitigate potential issues.- Use initiative and logic to respond to queries and escalate complex problems to the supervisor or manager as appropriate- Feedback on any concerns/issues (individual or team) through supervisors to allow it to be dealt with accordingly- Participate in ad hoc projects as required by the business
