.Responsible for creating trust within our supply base and purchasing organization by collaborating with them and assuring on-time fulfillment of requisitions and purchase orders while assuring supplier compliance with Nemak Policy and cost targets.**Main Responsibilities**- Purchase of Indirect Materials that meet specific internal customer requirements and Nemak Standards- Verify requisition information, trigger RFQs, evaluate proposals, identify standardization opportunities/simplification, create purchase orders, and assure timely delivery according to agreed terms- Supplier Development: Resolve conflicts related to suppliers, compliance with purchasing agreements, manage supplier workload, provide feedback about supplier performance- Coordination with Departments: Work with purchasing departments, internal customers, and suppliers to resolve problems. Maintain respect and objectivity in interactions with suppliers and employees. Assure continuous improvement with suppliers, processes, and initiatives.
