We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant with US GAAP to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the accounting department with day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles who is looking to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.ResponsibilitiesRevenue Recognition:Responsible for uploading of revenue data from the Practice locations to our ERP system (Sage Intacct).Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.Review and analyze contracts (ex. Wellness) for proper revenue recognition treatment.Assist in the preparation and analysis of weekly, monthly, and annual revenue reports.Month-End Close:Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, workpaper creation, and variance analysis.Ensure all revenue-related accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved promptly.Reconcile balance sheet accounts, identify and correct errors, and prepare reconciliation for management review on a monthly basis.Compliance and Auditing:Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.Financial Analysis and Reporting:Perform expense analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Prepare detailed variance reports and present findings to management.Collaboration:Work closely with Operations, Finance Shared Services, and Practice Support to ensure accurate reporting and resolve issues.Provide support to other finance team members as needed.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting required.3+ years of experience in accounting required.Knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles preferred.Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills, Intacct experience is preferred.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and ability to work independently.Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and thrive on challenges.BenefitsInsurance of major medical expenses (Sum assured $20,000,000.00 MXN).Life insurance (Death and MXN Disability).12 Days of vacation per year, with prior approval from your manager, plus three floating days in addition to the seven official Holidays in Mexico.30 days of Christmas bonus.Cell Phone Reimbursement.Transportation Allowance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
