This role is essential in maintaining GAAP-compliant records, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, and ensuring the smooth execution of financial operations within Prime Providers. The Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with the accounting, financial analytics, and revenue cycle teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Accounting & Financial Reporting: Prepare journal entries, maintain GAAP-compliant records, and assist in preparing financial information including audited statements and executive reports.Reconciliation & Analysis: Validate and reconcile general ledger, accounts receivables, and client services; present contractual Rates and Revenue Realization Rate (RRR) analysis to leadership.Client & Revenue Management: Work closely with the Revenue Cycle team to calculate contractual allowances, compute client rates, and prepare financial reports for third-party reimbursements, Safety Net Assessment, and more.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving data accuracy and operational efficiency by streamlining processes.Project-Based System Implementations & Acquisitions: Lead and support project-based implementations of new financial systems, including those related to company acquisitions, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with Prime Providers' standards and operational goals.Collaboration & Leadership: Support the annual budget process, assist in audit preparations, and work with leadership to create visually engaging financial dashboards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Minimum of 5 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in healthcare.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.G., lookups, pivot tables, Power Pivots).Strong financial skills with an understanding of GAAP and financial statement relationships.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience in U.S. company accounting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
