Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant I will be expected to be a contributing performer, performing financial accounting work that supports business processes.Possible areas of responsibility are varied and of medium complexity, including:- financial accounting, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, consolidations, payroll accounting and intercompany accounting for a group of legal entities- internal management accounting, including profit center reporting and budgeting and margin analysis- development and maintenance of internal controls and proceduresThe Staff Accountant I is capable of handling complex accounting issues such as: inventory valuation, intercompany transactions, sales and cost of sales reporting, and resolving financial reporting problems.The Staff Accountant I will demonstrate knowledge and ability to independently handle accounting issues.**Big 4 audit experience preferred.**Requires a 4-year degree, preferably in accounting.1-2 years of accounting experience is required.**Big 4 audit experience preferred.**Must demonstrate initiative, leadership, and the ability to effectively communicate.
