Staff Accountant

We are currently looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.Key Responsibilities:Transaction Management:Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactionsRecord journal entries to close books on a monthly basisReconcile assigned accounts on a monthly basisAccounts Payable:Record invoices, obtain approval and generate paymentsHandle w-9 and 1099 tracking and VAT where applicableOrganize and maintain vendor recordsAudit Coordination:Coordinate with auditors for interim and annual auditsProvide necessary documentation and support during auditsCompliance and Standards:Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standardsOther Areas:Ad hoc projectsCrosstrain and back up other team members when necessaryRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgerStrong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and processesExperience with accounting software and business tools like Sage Intacct, Zoho, Hubspot, Ramp, etc.Skilled multitasker and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitted to maintaining confidentiality of company information#J-18808-Ljbffr
