Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining strong processes, controls, and timely financial statements.What you'll do:Ensuring proper approval and coding of expenses as well as maintaining T&E and corporate card systemsManage billing and be point of contact for resellers on monthly reconciliations of the invoicesMonitor accounts payable functions, ensuring that all vendor payments are approved and paid on-schedule, and AP aged balances are reviewed frequentlyEnsuring proper setup of Vendors, including approval, documentation, and ACH implementationPerform month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and Intercompany transactionsMaintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are clearedPerform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledgerFile tax forms with federal, state, and international agenciesEffectively using accounting knowledge to collaborate with varying levels of employees and management to drive sound business decisionsIdentify improvements to automate existing processesProvide support with annual financial auditsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA qualification strongly preferred2-3 years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of US GAAP and accounting standardsStrong excel skills mixed with the ability to find more efficient ways to improve current processesOutstanding attention to detail coupled with an ability to see the bigger pictureAbility to manage competing priorities and deadlines and strong problem-solving skillsStrong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skillsNetSuite Experience Required:Expense Management and Salesforce experience a plusOther Facts about the team:Existing accounting team is comprised of auditors from E&Y, PWC, and Deloitte so this will be a great opportunity to learn and develop
