Staff Accountant

**Position**:
**Staff Accountant I**

**Objective**

Provide support in the General Accounting area as well as assist in the month-end closing process

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general ledger accounts reconciliation
- Prepare and input journal entries as part of month-end closing process
- Perform bank reconciliation
- Perform Intercompany inputs and outputs, as well as monthly reconciliations
- Control travel expenses
- Control fixed assets and Capex
- Perform new vendors creations
- Prepare and submit reports to the Secretary of Economy

**Profile**:
**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Degree in Accounting required
- 2-3 years prior accounting experience, preferably in a multinational company
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, short cuts)
- Good command of English
- Experience with SAP
- Detail oriented and organized
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of retail industry is a plus
