Staff Accountant- Gdl Only- Us Gaap

MezTal is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with expertise in US GAAP to support our financial reporting and compliance initiatives. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring adherence to accounting guidelines. The ideal candidate will work closely with the finance team to prepare financial statements, manage the general ledger, and assist with audits.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP.Assist in the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.Prepare financial statements and various reports for management review.Ensure accuracy of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.Conduct various analyses on financial data to support decision-making processes.Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation.Monitor compliance with financial regulations and best practices.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting role with a focus on US GAAP.Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis.Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Advanced English.Located in Guadalajara.Open to Hybrid work.Benefits:Insurance of major medical expenses (Sum assured $20,000,000.00 MXN).Life insurance (Death and MXN Disability).12 Days of vacation per year, with prior approval from your manager, plus three floating days in addition to the seven official Holidays in Mexico.30 days of Christmas bonus.Cell Phone Reimbursement.Transportation Allowance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
