Staff Accountant I

Career Area:Accounting**Job Description**:Responsibilities include:- Perform revenue recognition activities, including sales contract management, revenue recognition, preparation of journal entries.- Maintaining process documentation.- Adhere to SOX controls, reports findings and give advices for process improvement.- Invoice Back Log Analysis.- Resolving questions and inquiries to the team for daily operational issues- Ensure that the transactions are processed accurately and timely- Can lead into other Finance Shared Services Role- Adherence to corporate and local policies and procedures.Experience and requirements:- Bachelor degree in Accounting.- 2+ years' experience in Account Receivable related activities- Able to understand and communicate in English language- Team oriented and able to work closely and effectively with internal and external customers- Medium to Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.- Able to travel to US to attend workshops, meetings.Preferred:- Big 4 previous experience.- ERP system experience.Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
