They are guided in their work by the understanding that they are an integral part of the community with responsibility to help to solve the community's most pressing challenges while reducing its expenses and enhancing its long-term value.**The Job activities are the following**:The Staff Accountant is a skilled position responsible for complying with all the accounting processes and GAAP.- Prepare bank reconciliations, expense accruals, and journal entries for a portfolio of clients- Review general ledger account activity to ensure financial statement accuracy and adherence to accounting policies- Produce monthly financial statements and internal/external reports as needed/requested- Demonstrate a solid understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties required to drive consistent implementation of best practices- Prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once, particularly during month and year-end- Generation of assessment billing statements on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.- Assist in operating projections, analysis, and annual budgeting.- Partnering with the AR and AP team to ensure accuracy of their inputs into General Ledger.- Assist in preparation of annual tax return, compilation, and audit reports with external CPA.**Schedule**Monday to Friday 10:00 to 19:00 CST**We offer**:Competitive Salary (According to experience)Remote WorkWork StabilityEquipmentChristmas bonus of 30 days (Aguinaldo)Six vacation days after the first yearIMSSMajor medical insurance since day 1**After the 3-month probation contract, we add**:Minor medical insurance (Clinic may vary according to your city)Food vouchers (10% of the gross salary)Restaurant tickets ($2,000 pesos)Saving fund (8% of the gross salary)**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 4 years of experience.- Good understanding of USA GAAP or experience working with GBS/shared centers for American companies.- Experience working with multiple accounts.- Advanced accounting vocabulary knowledge in English- Understanding of accrual accounting.- Advanced Excel (formulas and formatting)- Strong writing skills in English.
