We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team.

This person understands the importance of being detail oriented and ensures the delivery of a thorough approach to all projects and tasks at hand.
Our Staff Accountant will interact with all levels of the business and must be diplomatic in their approach to problem solving while being proactive and resourceful.The Staff Accountant will be responsible for:- Working effectively with all members of the accounting team to perform month, quarter and year end tasks in compliance with US GAAP- Obtaining and maintaining a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure- Preparing journal entries, Balance Sheet account reconciliations and Profit and Loss account analyses- Participating and assisting with the preparation of the annual audit- Assisting with the accounts payable processing, proper classification and mapping of expenses and General Ledger accounts- Maintenance and organization of AP files (agreements, SOW, W9s, etc)- Collection efforts and maintenance of A/R Aging- Prepare Wires/ACH payments on a monthly basis- Ad Hoc reports, analysis, and projects as needed by management- Maintain monthly schedules of accounts, Fixed Assets, Accruals, Prepaids, to name a few
