.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesSUMMARY OF ROLE: To work with Process Engineer, Yield/Integration Engineer, Facility, Manufacturing, Equipment Vendor together with Equipment / Process Technicians to optimize and maintain Equipment performance to ensure Safety, Cost, OEE & Quality goals set by company continuously improve.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - To lead team of Equipment / Maintenance Technicians together with other Equipment Engineers to engage and work closely with Manufacturing Supervisors/Specialists, Process Engineer, Facility Team, Equipment Vendors to resolve daily line issues and to sustain the lines.
- To provide first level engineering support for Main and Support equipment issues and continuously involved in engineering projects such as cost reduction, OEE improvement, second sourcing, yield & reliability improvement and new line/equipment start-up.
- To monitor and sustain daily equipment performance by continuously review equipment data log, errors, SPC & develop necessary Predictive & Preventive Maintenance procedures, Daily Checklist, OCAPs & etc to ensure equipment are always running smoothly without necessary interruption to Manufacturing.
- To prepare RFQs, establish spare, PM & consumable part in inventory system to ensure Zero downtime related with parts shortage while continue maintaining & improving Repair & Maintenance Cost (R&M).
- To plan for training programs for technicians to continue motivate, improve technical skill & troubleshoot capability - To maintain and achieve good cosmetic, mechanical and electrical yield.
- To drive improvement projects to reduce repair and maintenance cost.
- To perform root cause analysis for major Downtime, Safety, Yield and address issues using problem solving methodologies such as 8D approach and 7QC Tools.
- To prepare necessary report and attend required meetings with internal or external person / group related with the area in charge.
- To comply with the standards, norms and regulations of quality of the environment, health and safety and manufacturing.
- To perform other tasks as required or assigned.Experiência y requisitosRELATED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Degree or Master's Degree in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience.
- Experience in PLC programming - Experienced to handle New Equipment / Factory start up requirement such as understanding P&ID, Tool Acceptance Spec.
to work closely with facility & equipment vendor to ensure smooth progress till release for mass production as specified timeline.
- Strong problem-solving skills with hand on troubleshoot skill in mechanical, electrical, chemical, analytical, perform risk analysis, mitigation with ability to distribute the knowledge, task to team member / downline, consistently & independently able to follow up with all related personal & update the progress
