TE Connectivity's Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.**What your background should look like**:This role will report to the Sr. Manager Project Management.Key Responsibilities:Manage NPD projects following the LEANPD process, with a focus on launching new products on timeMaintain project data in TE Project to achieve Industrial Business Unit data integrity goalsEnsure project progress and deliverables are achieved across all business functions to ensure compliance with LEANPD Stage Gate processWork with global project core teams to develop a project schedule and drive the project to meet that scheduleWork with the global project core teams to develop a project budget and drive the project to meet that budgetWork with Industrial Engineering to develop project P&Ls and CERs to support capital expendituresUpdate/communicate status of projects to Project Approval Committee (PAC)Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations to make sure committed New Product Sales (NPS) are achievedContribute to or lead overall continuous improvement initiatives to address systemic issues in the new product development processKey Competencies:Engineering degree, preferably additional business administration backgroundAbility to manage global project teams with key functions in multiple regionsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to successfully manage multiple projects and prioritiesExperience in requirements evaluation, scheduling, and solving resource issuesProven leadership in a matrix organization, able to lead by influence without authorityIntegrative thinking and analytical skills**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
