WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The Regional Strategic Logistic Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Warehousing Strategy for North Latam plus Ecuador, Perú and Bolivia, and be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Warehouse processes for Latam. These operations are highly complex in nature and requires a close collaboration with key stakeholders across the local business, our 3PLs and our Global Logistic team.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
• Support the development and maintenance of the strategy, road map and multi-year implementation plan for Warehousing to effectively meet the long-range requirements of our business partners and deliver the maxim um value for Unilever.
• Lead/own and maintain the benchmarking process for Warehousing LATAM, working closely with Global team on annual exercise and with local teams for opportunities validation, alignment with 3PLs and implementation.
• Provide data-driven recommendations on Warehouse priorities, leading ideation with the countries and projects roadmap prioritization.
• Lead warehouse business cases for networks changes, capacity increase/decrease, and transformational projects.
• Lead annual review on Long Term Capacity Plan for our warehouses, working closely with planning and warehouse operations.
• Work independently in Local Business Site in the design (Business Case construction), development and implementation of new and improved business processes and enabling technology in Logistics related projects.
• Deliver cost saving initiatives including Net productivity and utilization of logistics resources and facilities.
• Setup and evaluate logistics performance measurement KPIs. Periodical interviews with the Local Business Site for measurements/KPIs presentation. • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for making proposals and setting up project objectives for the prospective projects.
• Translate business objectives into an integrated and coherent information management and business intelligence strategy
• Develop and promote creative data visualization for actionable intelligence
• Perform financial/operational models, analysis, and compilation of quantitative data • Act with forecast/trend of performance data
• Provide guidance and lead problem solving for recommendations based on data interpretation and analysis to transform behaviors and techniques
• Develop automated tools and dashboards with IT staff to provide real-time insights into business data
• Use of advanced statistical concepts to determine significant sources of variability • Design the integration of data from multiple systems into manageable data warehouses in analytical data models
• Understand needs, define, and manage customer expectations within the conditions of systems, projects, or contracts Skills Experience, Attributes and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of industry and/or consulting experiences in Logistic, mandatory experience in warehouse projects and operation.
• Preferable experience on developing business cases for new warehouses (facilities and operation)
• Demonstrate strong understanding of business, technology and process implications as related to operation planning, warehousing, distribution operations, and other logistics related areas, preferably in LATAM market.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills (Data Analytics Expert), with expertise in quantitative/qualitative process analysis techniques, process metrics and performance measurement.
• Exhibit effective oral and written communication, leadership, project management, and teamwork skills with an ability to interact effectively with different levels of management.
• Fluent in English and Advanced
• Supply chain strategy and operation consulting experienced is preferred.
• Logistics system ability and know-how: WMS
• Skills in business diagnostics, value assessment and opportunity identification, business process design / reengineering and change management, and application design in implementing supply chain transformation to realize business value. Leadership
