.Strategic Pricing & Operations Analyst - HPE Aruba NetworkingThis role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.
**The Aruba Pricing Governance Team is responsible for Aruba Pricing Governance, Pricing Policy & Process **as well as driving initiatives in conjunction with multiple other functions with a primary focus on discount governance globally.
**The Strategic Deal Analyst** will work as part of the team, to review and complete **profitability analysis** on large, complex, often global deals for HPE Aruba, as well as being the primary **pricing function for the Aruba AAS and Greenlake deals.
**As part of the team, you will drive the analysis of Aruba field discounting, identifying key trends as well as outliers, assimilating the data for Field Sales consumption and recommending any necessary actions.A strong overall business awareness and understanding is key to this role as variables across other functions will need to be considered and incorporated, such as market trends, material constraints, NPI, FX fluctuations etc.
The ability to create and build strong relationships across the entire BU will be paramount to your success in this role.The analyst will need to become familiar and fluent in all internal sales tools, processes and practices in order to provide exemplary business support and recommendations.
**_ How you'll make your mark:_**- Quickly learning and becoming deeply involved in all areas of Aruba pricing, especially within the AAS and Greenlake space,- Pricing analysis of large, multinational opportunities to assess profitability and margin impact, building a collaborative relationship with Aruba Sales and Finance leaders for deal review,- On-going WW Aruba discount review and approval,- On-going regional support regarding discounting data, high levels of engagement with all regions in relation to their trends, outliers, root-causes identified and corrective actions, becoming a highly reliable and proactive business partner to the regions,- High levels of engagement with the PLM teams on pricing strategies, list pricing concerns, product placement and PLM deal supports,- Preparing & presenting the monthly GEO discount review materials,- Preparing quarterly Regional and WW discount review materials- Ad-hoc project & analytical support as needed.
**_ About you:_**- ** Experience in pricing is a necessity.
**:- Experience in Finance is highly preferred,- Experience with AAS pricing models is highly preferred,- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or equivalent experience,- Typically 6-10 years experience, MASTER: 10YRS +++- Excellent analytical, statistics and problem solving skills.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Mastery in English language.- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of stakeholders
