They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management, and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.What your background should look like:Key Tasks:
- Info Record set up/modification.
- Support on VMI implementation.
- Enhance Suppliers knowledge of TE platforms.
- First level of escalation support/assistance for metallic's commodity.
- NDA execution process for new Suppliers.
- Collaborate with the Precious Metals and Finance teams on the "Replenishment Program." This involves ensuring timely delivery of precious metals to our vendors to prevent any shortages. Additionally, verify the accuracy of the quantities supplied and address any outstanding replenishments.
- Contact for creating PPAPs requests.
- Blocked invoice champion to prevent credit/shipment hold, fostering positive relationships with the supplier, providing support to buyers for complex cases, and maintaining the blocked invoice dashboard.
- Weekly price block maintenance for metallic's category invoicing.
- Supplier identification, audit and approval.
- Collaborate with SQE to provide onboarding training for new suppliers on TE systems and procedures.
- Supports Supplier Cost related Improvement Workshops (i.E., reduction of CoPQ) in collaboration with Procurement CoE.Education/Work Experience:BA/BS, +3-5 years of purchasing, supply chain, engineering or technical experience.Preferred experience in various procurement areas including vendor management, negotiation, etc.Project management knowledge and background in handling multiple projects at the same time.Strong analytical & negotiation skills.Strong interest in learning the technicalities of the commodities.Develop strong business relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.Negotiating best possible deals in all scenarios.Knowledge of plant operations and management is a plus.Action-Oriented.Result-Oriented.Advanced knowledge in the use of MS Office applications, i.E. Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point.SAP knowledge is a plus
