Will be responsible for managing relationships with contract manufacturing partners to ensure the timely and cost-effective production of high-quality products. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, overseeing production schedules, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Maintaining strong partnerships and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the contract manufacturing process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Contract Manufacturer Management:Establish and maintain relationships with contract manufacturing partners.Negotiate terms and agreements to ensure favorable conditions.Production Oversight:Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery.Resolve production issues and ensure adherence to quality standards.Quality Assurance:Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to conduct audits and inspections.Cost Management:Analyze and control production costs.Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Performance Metrics:Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing partners.Implement corrective actions and improvement plans.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with internal teams (Supply Chain, Quality, R&D) to integrate and align contract manufacturing activities.Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders and contract manufacturers.Risk Management:Identify potential risks in the manufacturing process and develop mitigation strategies.Ensure contingency plans are in place for supply chain disruptions.Other Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, contract manufacturing, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience managing relationships with contract manufacturers and overseeing production operations.APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar certification is a plus.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data and drive data-driven decision-making.Strong project management and organizational skills.Ability to multitask.Ability to deal effectively with time pressures, stress, and changing demands of the job regularly.Ability to handle highly confidential business information.#J-18808-Ljbffr
