Strategic Sourcing ManagerLeads the development and execution of Global Supply Management (GSM) Strategic Sourcing strategies, policies, tactics and objectives for assigned complex global commodities that align and are linked with the business units, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing strategies.KEY RESPONSIBILITES:Manage 30M annual spend and about 20 strategic and non strategic contract manufacturers of the Corning Legacy and CMD business:Perform quarterly business reviews with a cross functional team:Monitor KPI's, overlook and execute on risk mitigation andlean end to end supply chain:Manage by contracts and renew MSA's:Develop subcategory strategies of Contract Manufacturing and identify cost reduction opportunities:Review / communicate forecast and follow up with Supply chain and CM's:Conduct spend analysis:Prepare RFP's and RFQ's for new product implementation, outsourcing and benchmarking:Represent GSM in CMM and SC meetings, business teams and projects:Source new Contract manufacturers and support other regions for sourcing activities in Americas:Take care of workflows in SAP for new Price, MOQ, lead time and other data loads for Contract manufacturing:Support planners and buyers for trouble shooting and escalation:Survey sample orders and qualification processes:Classify materials in SAP with the respective categories:Support SAP reports and year over year material price comparison for PCM reporting:Control the consignemnt transactions with the warehouse and supplier on a regular basis:Start eMDV vendor set up process:Ensure RTP compliance within CMM:Monitor cost reduction and report them monthly in PCM and the COM portfolio filePay Grade:Grade CEmployee Referral Amount:0.00
