Reviews prices, manufacturing processes, and contracts and makes recommendations for changes to ensure a successful procurement process.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership and category oversight to include sourcing strategy execution, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targets.Manage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and monitor supplier contract negotiations.Develop Consulting preferred supplier program.Operational and spend analysis, development and execution of annual sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management & operational support.Build and maintain relationships throughout every level of the organization, that results in dynamic interactive dialogue on a broad range of perspectives and information critical to identify sourcing needs and leading to the development of optimal approaches and solutions.Develop deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value, and bring innovation to the business.Identifies business demand requirements and partners with Business Units to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantage.Responsible for overall relationship with multiple strategic accounts across a given category.Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature.Ensures supplier or commodity is performing to the designed requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective through established governance programs.Identify, develop and direct the implementation of supply chain goals and category strategies, based on deep subject matter expertise and an understanding of industry/market dynamics.Escalate issues that may impact the supply chain organization and effectively manages issues.Strong project management capabilities to support effective initiative, program and spend tracking.Committed to supporting supplier diversity and other important supply chain initiatives
