In this role, you will focus on analyzing the Direct channels of distribution, (Including Call Center, Online Booking Engines and third-party tools) manage the performance and analytics, driving revenue, identify areas of opportunity, and initiate coherent plans to maximize the channel potential.
In addition to managing these channels for quality assurance, this individual will ensure guidelines are being met, and resorts are being featured correctly.
This individual will focus on increasing Direct conversion online at website and booking engine level and call center.
**A successful Strategist - Direct Mexico and LATAM will**:
- Monitor and drive Inclusive Collection Direct strategy, making decisions to leverage and improve key levers.
Includes revenue, booking engine performance, site analytics, etc
- Analyze direct channels and drive strategy to maximize performance with online and offline channels
- Provide team members with timely feedback including performance metrics
- Develop and evaluate business cases for key Inclusive Collection initiatives and adjust current course to maximize results
- Works closely with the resort teams as well as marketing, creative and GSA's to ensure proper execution and monitors results of the campaigns
- Present comprehensive monthly analysis on trends to executives and adjusts strategic initiatives
- Understands the correct system set up (Rates, Availability and Inventory)
- Troubleshoots Direct booking engines, looks for problems and implements solutions that are in the best interest of the user experience
- Ensure consistent messaging across destinations and properties in line with Hyatt's Inclusive Collection brand guidelines
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly production and productivity reports on the direct business trends in relation to company goals
**A successful Strategist - Direct Mexico and LATAM will have**:
- Bachelor Degree or 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Spanish preferred but not required
- 3-5 Years of travel industry experience, preferably in areas of e-commerce, revenue management or sales but not required.
- Creative, self-motivated and ready to take initiative
- Excellent PC literacy skills.
Must have above average skill in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use pivot tables and data presentation
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and website content management (such as EpiServer or similar) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently
- Creative, self-motivated and ready to take initiative
- Ability to provide data analysis, review and presentation
- Excellent time management and project management skills
- Ability to achieve defined objectives with minimum supervision
- Attention to detail, proactive and good organization
